“ To all of those of you who plan on visiting Gatlinburg, TN there is a new restaurant that opened in March of this year called Taco Trail, that I highly recommend! It was my first time eating there and the staff were super friendly, and the service was amazing! Our food was ready 2 minutes after we sat down! I ordered the hikers trash nachos and it is delish! The portion size was enough for 2 people! If love to try new eateries, I highly recommend taco trail! I give it 10 out of 10 stars!!!!! ”

“ Everything we tried was flavorful ,fixed perfectly. We had the white trash nachos,shrimp taco and steak taco .The spicy margaritas were refreshing and made well. If you like tex mex give this place a try .It is roomy ,well lit and very clean .The service was fast and friendly .My husband and I both loved it ! We will definitely be back. ”

“ Stopped in about 40 minutes before closing. Choose to sit at the bar. Wait staff was working on cleaning up for closing shift but were still attentive. The food came out fast and was DELISH! So delish we are going back tomorrow for lunch. The house margarita was one of the best we've ever had. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend stopping in. ”

“ So disappointed that this place is in Gatlinburg instead of Pigeon Forge but here's hoping that one day they'll open a second one. Went opening day and we were blown away with most of the food. Only one item (the smash burger taco) I wouldn't order again unless they included some type of house made sauce. But the nachos (please order any of the chips..made in-house and what a difference), the chicken and waffle taco, the BBQ taco, and the shrimp taco were fantastic. I don't know how they get that chicken so perfect and crunchy but I'd go back just for those alone, along with the nachos. One of the best parts is that you can order whatever you like anytime of the day. You want tacos in the morning, fine. You want breakfast tacos at night, fine. I love that. The atmosphere was bright, open, and very clean. Just beautiful inside, even the bathrooms. Chatted some with the staff and all were friendly/helpful. Go... You won't be disappointed. ”

“ The place is legit and much better than I expected since we aren't fans of "designer" tacos. Well, the good news is they offer traditional tacos as well and they are delicious! They have several options for kids that are very reasonable. I highly recommend their "hiker trash" nachos! ”
